VEML6040 RGB Sensor

veml6040-partOn a single chip, the VEML6040 measures the intensity of the red, green, and blue content of the ambient light allowing for calculation of the Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) measured in degrees Kelvin. It also can be used to determine the ‘brightness’ of the ambient light measured in lux. With this part, various light sources can be identified depending on its visible and infrared content.
